COVID-19 Patient and Visitor Information New Visitors Policy

Mission Regional Medical Center remains committed to the continuing good health of our community and is currently focused on both the containment and mitigation of COVID-19.

As updates have come in from the CDC, and in efforts to keep our patients safe and lower the risk of COVID-19, we have updated our Visitors Policy.

As of today, Saturday, March 21st and until further notice, NO visitors will be allowed in the hospital, with very limited exceptions. Children under the age of 18 will not be allowed to enter for patients registering and we ask patients to please refrain from bringing children or a guest with you, if possible, if you are needing emergent care. For NICU and Pediatric patients both parents are allowed. For OB, Post-partum and Labor and Delivery only one (1) companion is allowed.

Beginning today and all-day Sunday, entrance will be only through the Emergency Department. Our Main Entrance will open again on Monday and will remain to be the only available public entrance Monday - Friday. Each person entering through the ER or Main Lobby must pass a series of screening questions, temperature check, and must not have any respiratory viral symptoms.

We understand that family and friends are an important part of the healing process and, when possible, we encourage patient use of mobile devices to stay in touch with loved ones during their stay. For updates and information on your loved one, please call 956-323-9000 Option #0 from 8 am – 6 pm and our staff will be ready to assist you.

Thank you for your understanding and cooperation.
